The "metaverse" pioneers of K-pop are ready to launch their most ambitious era yet. aespa, the powerhouse quartet consisting of KARINA, WINTER, GISELLE, and NINGNING, has officially announced the release of their second studio album, "LEMONADE," scheduled to arrive on May 29, 2026.

This release marks the group's first full-length project in two years, building on the massive global success of their previous album, Armageddon, which dominated charts in 25 regions. The physical edition of LEMONADE will feature 10 tracks that promise to blend aespa’s signature futuristic identity with an evolved, more confident sound. Fans can expect elevated production and sharper storytelling as the group continues to push the boundaries of the digital and physical musical worlds.

The announcement comes at a peak in aespa's career. Over the last year, the group has secured several prestigious accolades, including being named "Group of the Year" at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music awards. Their cultural influence has expanded beyond music, recently earning a Red Dot Design Award 2026 for their innovative product packaging. Currently, the group is also vying for "Best Female K-Pop Artist" at the 2026 American Music Awards.

Accompanying the new album is a massive global trek: "2026-27 aespa LIVE TOUR - SYNK : æ." The tour kicks off in Seoul this August before heading to major arenas across Asia and the Americas. Fans in the West will have plenty of opportunities to see the group, with a dense North American run throughout September and October.

The tour will extend into early 2027, focusing on a major European leg. Highlights for UK fans include long-awaited stops at the AO Arena in Manchester on January 14 and The O2 in London on January 16. This will be followed by performances in major European capitals, including Paris, Berlin, and Milan.

With seven consecutive "million-seller" releases under their belt, aespa is poised to solidify their status as the defining global act of their generation. Pre-orders for LEMONADE are available now.
