Ezra Collective are returning to their roots. To mark a decade since the release of their landmark debut EP, Chapter 7, the Mercury Prize-winning quintet has announced a special 10th-anniversary reissue, out now digitally and via D2C vinyl.

The reissue serves as a victory lap for a band that has fundamentally reshaped the British musical landscape. Since Chapter 7 first captured the restless energy of London’s young jazz scene in 2016, Ezra Collective have shattered glass ceilings, becoming the first jazz act to win the Mercury Prize and the BRIT Award for Group of the Year.

The anniversary edition isn’t just a trip down memory lane; it’s an expansion of the band’s sonic evolution. Remastered for vinyl, the package includes new material and live recordings from their most iconic performances, including NPR’s Tiny Desk and their historic headline show at the Royal Albert Hall. To coincide with the launch, the band shared a vibrant live video of "I Have A God" featuring Zara McFarlane, showcasing the spiritual and rhythmic intensity that has become their hallmark.

Tomorrow night, the band will host an intimate fan event at London’s Colour Factory. In a touching tribute to their beginnings, they are partnering with Jazz re:freshed, the original champions of their sound. Designed as a "thank you" to the community, the night celebrates the meteoric rise of both the band and the wider British jazz movement.

The reissue arrives during a prolific season for the group. Just last night, they were honored with the Outstanding Contribution to British Jazz award at the Jazz FM Awards. This follows a MOBO Award for Best Jazz Act earlier this year. Looking ahead, the band is set to headline Love Supreme Festival and perform at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend this May.

From the grassroots clubs of London to headlining Wembley Arena, Ezra Collective continue to prove that jazz is a living, breathing, and globally dominant force. Chapter 7 was where it all began; ten years later, the movement is only getting stronger.
