Rotherham’s own indie powerhouses, The Reytons, have officially announced the release of their fourth studio album, A Love Letter To A Broken Town, set to arrive on July 24, 2026. Accompanying the news is the release of the album's lead single, "Jukebox," a high-octane blast of nostalgia that celebrates thriving local communities and signals the band's triumphant return.
Back to Their Roots
Remaining fiercely independent, The Reytons continue to prove that label backing isn't necessary to conquer the charts. Following their #1 success with What's Rock and Roll? and the #2 peak of Ballad of a Bystander, the new record finds the band leaning into the grit and honesty that defined their rise.
"I honestly feel like this album is the best we’ve ever done!" explains frontman Jonny Yerrell. "A lot of artists like to change direction later in their careers, but that’s just not us. We love the social commentary and the people who turn up to jump around with us. Expect more, just bigger and better."
Cinematic Storytelling
The album promises a dynamic balance of energetic anthems and introspective social commentary. Tracks like "Busker’s Paradise" offer a cinematic look at life in a declining town, while "Hello, How Are You Today?" provides an optimistic, reflective anthem designed for the festival stages they are set to dominate this summer.
A Summer of Headliners
The band’s meteoric rise—moving from selling out 20,000 tickets at Clifton Park to headlining major festivals—continues with a packed international schedule. After appearances at Mad Cool and Benicassim, the four-piece will return to the UK for a massive headline set at Y Not Festival on July 31.
With A Love Letter To A Broken Town, The Reytons reinforce their status as the UK's most successful independent band, proving that their authentic connection with their fans is an unstoppable force.
"Jukebox" is available to stream now. A Love Letter To A Broken Town is out July 24.
