If you believe that "unhinged Dave Grohl" is the best version of Dave Grohl, then Foo Fighters have just delivered your new favorite anthem. The band has officially released ‘Of All People,’ a ferocious, early Husker Du-esque rager that serves as the latest preview of their forthcoming 12th studio album, Your Favorite Toy.
‘Of All People’ made its live debut in a surprisingly intimate setting: the tiny St. James Church in Dingle, Ireland. Performing for just 80 fortunate fans as part of the long-running RTÉ series Other Voices, the band "singed the eyebrows off" those in attendance with the track’s glorious ferocity. The performance is now available to view online, alongside a high-octane visualizer for the studio version.
Your Favorite Toy, set for release on April 24th via Roswell Records/Columbia Records, was a home-recorded affair. The 10-track project was co-produced by the band and Oliver Roman, with mixing handled by the legendary Mark “Spike” Stent.
The full tracklist includes:
Caught In The Echo
Of All People
Window
Your Favorite Toy
If You Only Knew
Spit Shine
Unconditional
Child Actor
Amen, Caveman
Asking For A Friend
The Take Cover World Tour
The album’s arrival coincides with the band's massive Take Cover world tour. UK fans can catch the six-piece—Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, Rami Jaffee, and Ilan Rubin—when they take over Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium for two massive nights on June 25th and 27th, 2026.
This stadium run promises to be the rock ’n’ roll event of the summer, showcasing the band's evolution from home-recorded intimacy to arena-shaking power.
‘Of All People’ is available to stream and download now. Your Favorite Toy is available for pre-order ahead of its April 24th release.
