Jack White Ignites 2026 with New Music and a Milestone 'SNL' Return
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Jack White is officially back, today unveiling two blistering new tracks, “G.O.D. and the Broken Ribs” and “Derecho Demonico.” Released via Third Man Records, the singles mark White’s first new material since the critical whirlwind of 2024’s No Name, an album that earned him a 2025 Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album—bringing his staggering career total to 46 nominations and 16 wins.
Produced by White himself, the new tracks feature the powerhouse backing of his longtime live band: Patrick Keeler on drums, Dominic Davis on bass, and Bobby Emmet on keys. To celebrate the release, White is heading to Studio 8H tomorrow, April 4, for his sixth appearance as the musical guest on NBC’s Saturday Night Live, joining host Jack Black for what promises to be an explosive night of television.
For the collectors, Third Man Records is pulling out all the stops. Tomorrow also marks the launch of limited-edition Tri-Color and Black 7” vinyl, available at Third Man’s physical outposts in Nashville, Detroit, and London, as well as online. Standard black 7” vinyl will hit independent record stores globally next week.
The release follows a prolific period for the Detroit icon. Beyond his musical output, 2024 saw the publication of Jack White Collected Lyrics and Selected Writing Volume 1, a landmark anthology featuring never-before-seen poems and rare photography. His previous singles, “That’s How I’m Feeling” and “Archbishop Harold Holmes”—the latter featuring an acclaimed music video starring John C. Reilly—both dominated U.S. radio at the #1 spot, setting a high bar for this new era.
White is showing no signs of slowing down. Having spent the last two years touring North America and Japan, he returns to the road this summer for an extensive European headline tour and several top-billed international festival slots. The journey kicks off on May 30 in Latvia, cutting through major stops in Berlin, Paris, and Brussels, before wrapping up with headline festival performances in Turkey and Kazakhstan this August. Tickets for all dates are on sale now.
