Gilles Peterson’s award-winning We Out Here Festival has officially pulled back the curtain on its third wave of artists for the 2026 edition. True to the festival's "trademark offering," the latest announcement bridges the gap between foundational legends and the vanguard of global jazz, soul, and electronic music.
Headlining the new additions is multi-GRAMMY-winning virtuoso bassist and vocalist Thundercat, fresh off the release of his acclaimed new album Distracted. He is joined by the prolific multi-instrumentalist and UK Garage icon Peven Everett, further diversifying a lineup that already boasts an impressive array of global talent.
The third wave also welcomes a rich tapestry of sounds to the Dorset countryside, including:
Channel One: The iconic dub-reggae sound system.
Greentea Selectah: The DJ alter-ego of neo-soul star Greentea Peng.
Ivy Lab: Experimental producers pushing the boundaries of bass and hip-hop.
Oscar Jerome & MADELEINE: Leading voices in the UK’s vibrant jazz-funk and soul scenes.
These artists join a previously stacked bill that includes Arthur Verocai (performing with the Nu Civilisation Orchestra), Joy Crookes, Stereolab, and Shabaka. The DJ program is equally formidable, featuring sets from Kenny Dope, Nightmares on Wax, Jamz Supernova, and Alix Perez.
Now entering its seventh year, We Out Here has become a cornerstone of the UK festival circuit, celebrated for its "collective musical discovery" and high-end production. Set against an idyllic backdrop of towering trees, the site offers more than just music; attendees can immerse themselves in wellness activities, family programming, and world-class record collections.
Following five consecutive sold-out years, the 2026 festival—taking place from 20th–23rd August—is reportedly on track to sell out in record time. Tickets and high-res lineup posters are available now at weoutherefestival.com.
