Northern Irish alt-rock heavyweights Snow Patrol have today announced two major additions to their upcoming open-air show at Crystal Palace Park on Friday 3 July 2026, tickets available below. Joining the bill are Scottish singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald and Reading rockers The Amazons, completing a high-octane lineup for one of the summer’s most anticipated outdoor events.

The show arrives during a significant year for Snow Patrol, marking the 20th anniversary of their seminal 2006 album, Eyes Open. The record catapulted the band to global superstardom, producing "Chasing Cars"—the most-played song of the 21st century on British radio—alongside hits like "Open Your Eyes" and "You’re All I Have."

Fans can expect a career-spanning set from the trio, now comprising Gary Lightbody, Nathan Connolly, and Johnny McDaid, who returned to the top of the charts in late 2024 with their Number One album, The Forest Is The Path.

"We’re excited to play Crystal Palace Park next summer," says frontman Gary Lightbody. "It’ll be our first outdoor London show for a long while. It’s going to be a great day with a fantastic lineup of bands and solo artists."

The new additions bring significant pedigree to the South London stage:

Amy Macdonald: One of Scotland’s most successful exports with over 12 million record sales, Macdonald returns to London following the success of her 2025 album Is This What You’ve Been Waiting For?. Known for her authentic storytelling and powerful live vocals, she remains a formidable force in British indie-folk.

The Amazons: Celebrated for their "full throttle" intensity, the band will bring their introspective yet riff-heavy 2025 record 21st Century Fiction to the park. Their reputation for raucous, high-energy performances makes them a perfect match for the expansive outdoor setting.

The two acts join previously announced special guests Rag ’N’ Bone Man and rising indie-pop talent Nieve Ella.

London’s Original Concert Grounds

Crystal Palace Park holds a storied musical history, having hosted legendary performances by Bob Marley and The Rolling Stones. In 2026, the venue continues its tradition of hosting world-class talent, with Snow Patrol joining a summer roster that includes Alanis Morissette and The Offspring.
