This March, London’s music scene receives a powerful spotlight as Hard Rock Cafe joins forces with Coca-Cola to present the ‘Women Empower’ series. Spanning both the iconic Old Park Lane and Piccadilly Circus locations, the month-long celebration honors International Women’s Month through high-energy live performances, curated culinary experiences, and a global initiative to champion female voices in the industry.
Live Music and Exclusive Events
At the heart of the celebration is a commitment to visibility. Hard Rock has pledged to host 1,000 women-led events worldwide this month. Locally, Londoners can enjoy free live acoustic sessions featuring up-and-coming female talent every Thursday and Saturday at Piccadilly Circus.
A major highlight is the International Women’s Day ‘Brunch & Bubbles’ on March 8 (12pm–2pm) at the Mayfair cafe, featuring intimate live sets from local female artists. Every Sunday throughout March, themed brunch events will continue to provide a platform for women shaping the future of music.
The ‘Women Empower’ Series
Recognizing that women represent less than 5% of music and media creators, the partnership includes a series of micro-documentaries. These films offer an intimate look at six global trailblazers, including guitar tech Claire Murphy and CEO Mayna Nevarez, highlighting the diverse roles women occupy behind the scenes and on center stage.
Culinary Collaborations and Charity
To complement the entertainment, a limited-edition menu inspired by Coca-Cola and global flavors is now available. Guests can sample items like the Spiced Yuzu Soda and Fattoush Chicken Caesar Salad, with a portion of the proceeds supporting the Women in Music nonprofit. Furthermore, the Hard Rock Heals Foundation® is donating $100,000 to the organization to bolster its education and empowerment programs.
“This annual initiative allows us to spotlight incredible performers here in London and all around the world,” says Narissa O’Moore, European Entertainment & Marketing Manager.
With custom merchandise available at the Rock Shop® and a full calendar of performances, Hard Rock Cafe London is ensuring that the rhythm of International Women's Month is heard loud and clear.
