St. Katharine Docks is set to host a special Mother’s Day edition of its acclaimed St. Kat’s Sessions on Sunday, 15 March 2026. Following a string of four consecutive sold-out performances, the estate is transforming London’s only floating entertainment pontoon into an intimate jazz haven. This afternoon session is specifically designed to celebrate mothers, grandmothers, and maternal figures against the scenic backdrop of the capital’s premier marina.

The event features artist-in-residence Olivia Swann, whose magnetic presence has defined the winter series. Performing from 4pm to 6pm, Swann will be accompanied by a lineup of exceptional live musicians to reinterpret the timeless songbooks of legendary female icons. Guests can expect sophisticated renditions of classics by Ella Fitzgerald, Julie London, Blossom Dearie, and Judy Garland, providing a refined soundtrack to the waterfront setting.

The floating venue offers a unique acoustic experience, with the surrounding dockside architecture creating a natural amphitheatre. To ensure a comfortable atmosphere, the pontoon will be equipped with snug blankets, allowing guests to relax as the music carries across the water. The session serves as an ideal post-lunch treat, with the on-site bar remaining open until 7pm for an unhurried conclusion to the day.

The afternoon is further enhanced by a partnership with the prestigious British sparkling wine house Nyetimber. Every guest will receive a complimentary glass of Nyetimber on arrival to toast the occasion. Complementing the drinks is a curated dessert menu from the estate’s renowned seafood restaurant, The Melusine. Seasonal offerings include White Chocolate and Rhubarb Cheesecake, Dockside Blossom Pavlova, and Chocolate Mousse with Strawberries.

Located in Zone 1, St. Katharine Docks provides a distinctive cultural escape in the heart of the city. Because of the intimate nature of the floating pontoon, ticket capacity is strictly limited to maintain a close connection between the performers and the audience. Early booking is encouraged for what has become one of London’s most sought-after boutique music experiences.
