Paul Weller has today confirmed the release of Weller At The BBC Vol.2, a major new collection documenting his prolific output for the national broadcaster. Set for release on Parlophone on Friday 24 April 2026, the three-disc set serves as the definitive follow-up to his 2008 compilation, capturing a wealth of live sessions recorded between 2008 and 2024.
Available in both triple-LP and triple-CD formats, the album provides a deep dive into Weller’s evolution over the last sixteen years. The tracklisting features a blend of solo highlights and reimagined classics from The Jam and The Style Council, including "Start!", "The Eton Rifles," and "My Ever Changing Moods." Fans will also discover an eclectic array of covers, with Weller putting his unique stamp on tracks by The Kinks, The Zombies, and even Billie Eilish’s "What Was I Made For?"
The collection highlights several landmark performances, including his 2019 "In Concert" session at the BBC Radio Theatre featuring the London Metropolitan Orchestra and Hannah Peel. Also included are "When Your Garden’s Overgrown" and "Boy About Town," which serve as a companion to his recently announced Record Store Day 7” release. From intimate "Sofa Sessions" at Maida Vale to high-energy "Quay Sessions" in Dunfermline, the album showcases Weller’s enduring reputation as a live powerhouse.
In addition to the album news, the "Modfather" has expanded his upcoming live schedule. New summer dates have been added in Belfast, Cork, Dublin, and Ludlow to satisfy high ticket demand. This tour includes high-profile outdoor shows at Scarborough Open Air Theatre and a sold-out run at Halifax’s The Piece Hall.
Weller will be joined by special guest Miles Kane for all UK dates, promising a formidable double-bill of British songwriting talent. The tour officially launches in June, visiting iconic settings like Lincoln Castle and Liverpool’s Pier Head. With several dates already sold out, fans are encouraged to move quickly to secure their place for what promises to be one of the highlights of the 2026 live season.
