The Funeral Portrait score historic third Billboard #1 with “Dark Thoughts”

BETTER NOISE MUSIC has kicked off 2026 by delivering massive radio and chart success for its artists including SABATON, NOTHING MORE, and THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT while laying the groundwork for impending new releases from FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, FROM ASHES TO NEW, THE HU, IN THIS MOMENT, EVA UNDER FIRE, DIRTY HEADS and YELLOWCARD

This is a big moment for THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT, who join the very small Three-In-A-Row-Streak-Club at Mainstream Rock Airplay from their debut radio single “Suffocate City,” featuring Spencer Charnas, (#1 in 2024) , “Holy Water,” featuring Ivan Moody, (#1 in 2025) and now “Dark Thoughts” (#1 in 2026).

According to Billboard, other Debut-Three-#1’s-In-A-Row-Club members are 3 Doors Down, The Pretty Reckless, Jelly Roll and Falling In Reverse.

The same week that The Funeral Portrait hit #1, label band mates, SABATON (@sabatonofficial), the #1 Global Power Metal Band, charge into the Top 10 on the Billboard “Mainstream Rock Airplay” chart this week with “Crossing the Rubicon” featuring NOTHING MORE (released September 12, 2025), marking Sabaton’s first-ever appearance on the chart, and their first Billboard Chart top 10. These radio hits follow on from NOTHING MORE album CARNAL which produced four #1 active rock hits in a row through 2024 and 2025, and YELLOWCARD’S 2025 Alternative #1 hit “Better Days”.
