Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Def Leppard have today released their powerful new single, ‘Rejoice’, via EMI Records. The track arrives as a high-octane "hard rock chant" that signals a heavier direction for the band as they prepare for a massive year on the road.
The single’s release precedes the band's highly anticipated return to the Las Vegas Residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, starting 3 February 2026. However, for British fans, the real excitement lies in the newly confirmed UK and European headline tour set to ignite stadiums and arenas throughout June and July 2026.
"Hard Rock with Oomph"
‘Rejoice’ was born from a collaboration between frontman Joe Elliott and guitarist Phil Collen. Elliott describes the track’s lyrical journey as one of resilience—a narrator rising from "absolute rock bottom" to a higher level.
Collen explains the song’s unique sonic profile: "I created this drum loop based with a tribal sound... It all started gelling and just sounded like a powerful chant. It’s got a bit more of an ‘oomph’ than stuff we’ve been doing for a while."
2026 UK Tour Highlights
Following their stint in Vegas, the Sheffield legends will bring their electrifying new show back to home soil. A major highlight of the summer run is a headline performance at London’s O2 Arena. The tour will also see the band venture into Europe, including their first show in Paris in nearly three decades. Joining Def Leppard for the majority of the UK dates will be special guests Extreme.
UK & Ireland Key Dates (Summer 2026):
Early June: Manchester – Co-op Live
Mid-June: Glasgow – OVO Hydro
Late June: London – The O2
Early July: Dublin – 3Arena
Tickets for the June and July dates are expected to be in high demand following the band’s string of sold-out stadium shows in recent years.
