French pop icon Sébastien Tellier has officially released the studio version of his new single, "Parfum Diamant," out today, January 16. The track follows a mesmerizing COLORS session filmed in Berlin earlier this month, which previewed the song’s minimalist, intensely chromatic aesthetic.
A Journey Into Adolescent Emotion
"Parfum Diamant" is a synth-tinged, spatio-sensory ode to the innocence of youth. Reflecting on the track’s inspiration, Tellier describes it as a dive into his teenage memories: "My first naive emotions, lying under the sky, sharing an ice cream… Capturing the magic of a man and a woman united in a quest beyond the surrounding discord."
The single creates an intimate, sensual universe where Tellier’s signature vocals intertwine with refined, timeless arrangements. It serves as a dreamlike centerpiece for his highly anticipated upcoming album, Kiss The Beast, set for release on January 30.

Produced between Paris and London, Kiss The Beast is an extravagant and ambitious project featuring an elite lineup of collaborators. The album boasts production from SebastiAn, Victor Le Masne, and Oscar Holter, with orchestral strings provided by Owen Pallett.
