"I think me and Mel B are the cheerleaders and Emma's totally with us," Melanie told Judd. "We’re all so proud of our legacy... but we're frightened to do it the wrong way. We are just waiting until we all decide on exactly the best way to do it." Produced alongside Theo Hutchcraft (Hurts) and the writing team Kingdoms, the track draws on the high-octane energy of '80s workout culture and '90s rave aesthetics.
A New Creative Direction
Melanie noted that DJing has fundamentally changed her approach to songwriting. "When you’re behind the decks, you instantly know what works," she explained. "I want my records to feel physical, energetic, and emotional in the same way the music I play out does."
