The 13th edition of Independent Venue Week (IVW) officially kicks off on January 26th, featuring a record-breaking 236 venues across the UK. This year’s celebration sees a 10% increase in participation, highlighting the vital role these spaces play in nurturing musical talent.

Exclusive Ambassador Shows

To mark the occasion, IVW’s 2026 Artist Ambassadors have announced a series of one-off intimate performances. Tickets for these high-demand shows go on sale Friday, January 9th, at 10:00 AM.

Nova Twins: Fresh from supporting Evanescence and an iconic NPR Tiny Desk set, the trailblazing duo returns to their roots for a tiny hometown show at London’s Amersham Arms on January 27th.

Brògeal: The Falkirk five-piece will champion the Scottish scene with dates at MacArts in Galashiels (Jan 30) and The Venue in Dumfries (Jan 31).

Eve Goodman: The Welsh folk singer adds a solo performance at Mold’s Caffi Isa (Jan 26) to her existing tour dates in Swansea and Pembroke.

Supporting the Ecosystem

In a new move for 2026, IVW has partnered with the PRS Foundation’s Early Career Promoter Fund to spotlight the next generation of industry talent. Highlights include Ni Maxine in Birmingham and FACESOUL in Brighton.

“These shows encapsulate what IVW is all about,” says founder Sybil Bell. “Whether it’s the Nova Twins returning to a formative stage or artists bringing live music to towns like Galashiels and Mold.”
