Few bands embody the chaotic, community-driven spirit of the UK’s alternative scene quite like The Others. Two decades after they first stormed the London Underground for their legendary guerrilla gigs, the punk-pop outfit is proving they are as vital and defiant as ever. Today, the band officially announces the release of their sixth studio album, ‘When in Doubt,’ scheduled to hit shelves and streaming platforms on 20 February 2026.

Fresh Material for the Disillusioned

Standing as a voice for the "less privileged and different," the current seven-member lineup of The Others continues to push the boundaries of their signature sound. When in Doubt promises a fresh, contemporary edge while maintaining the raw honesty that has defined the band since their 2004 debut. Lead singer Dominic Masters remains the focal point of a project that refuses to stay silent in a changing social landscape.

A Double Celebration at The Grace

The year 2026 is a significant milestone for the band, marking the 20th anniversary of their acclaimed second album, Inward Parts. To celebrate the legacy of that record alongside the launch of the new album, The Others will perform a special headline show at The Grace in London on 20 March 2026.

Fans can expect a two-set spectacular: a full playthrough of Inward Parts—home to cult classics like "The Truth That Hurts"—followed by a second set featuring highlights from When in Doubt.

A Legacy of Innovation

The Others first exploded onto the scene under Alan McGee’s Poptones label, narrowly missing the Top 40 with their debut single "This is for The Poor." Known for their intense connection with their fanbase—dubbed the 853 Kamikaze Stage-Diving Division—the band earned the NME ‘John Peel Innovation Award’ and graced the stages of Glastonbury multiple times.

After a prolific few years that saw the release of Look at You All Now (2023) and Difficulties Understanding (2025), the band’s upcoming sixth record solidifies their enduring relevance. For a band that has always done things on their own terms, When in Doubt is a defiant statement of intent.
