Forty years after his unforgettable Sanremo performance of ‘Una storia importante,’ Italian superstar Eros Ramazzotti has opened a new chapter in his career with the release of his new album, Una Storia Importante / Una Historia Importante. Available today in both Italian and Spanish, the project is a blend of past, present, and future, featuring re-arranged classics and new material produced in collaboration with CanovA.
The album boasts an impressive roster of international and Italian collaborators, including Alicia Keys, Andrea Bocelli, Carín León, Elisa, Giorgia, Jovanotti, Kany García, Lali, Max Pezzali, and Ultimo.
A major highlight is the reinterpretation of the intimate classic ‘L’aurora’ / ‘La Aurora’ featuring 17-time GRAMMY® Award winner Alicia Keys. The new version, produced by Keys herself, blends the two artists' voices in an authentic dialogue, lending new light to one of Ramazzotti's most cherished songs.
The 15-track album includes five unreleased tracks, such as the first single ‘Il mio giorno preferito’ / ‘Mi día preferido,’ which made Ramazzotti the first artist of 2025 to debut directly at #1 on the EarOne Airplay chart. The new tracks also feature key Italian collaborations: ‘La mia strada’ with the tireless energy of Jovanotti, and ‘Come nei film’ with Max Pezzali, celebrating memories and friendship.
The international edition is further enhanced by collaborations with Latin music giants: ‘Otra como tú’ features a renewed, intense duet with Mexican music icon Carín León, and ‘Fuego en el fuego’ explodes with rhythm thanks to Argentine singer-songwriter Lali. The Spanish version of ‘Una emoción para siempre’ finds new life with Puerto Rican star Kany García.
Following the release, the extensive UNA STORIA IMPORTANTE WORLD TOUR / UNA HISTORIA IMPORTANTE WORLD TOUR will debut in Paris on 14th February 2026, visiting 30 countries across Europe, North America, Canada, and Latin America. The tour includes Ramazzotti’s highly anticipated return to Italian stadiums on 6th June 2026.
