Disney+ has debuted a brand-new trailer and key art for the upcoming release of “The Beatles Anthology,” the definitive documentary series exploring the life and times of the most influential band in history. The restored and expanded series will make its streaming debut exclusively on Disney+ starting November 26.
The landmark series, produced by Apple Corps, offers an unprecedented and intimate look at The Beatles’ legendary trajectory, told in their own words by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. It chronicles the band's history from their gritty early days to the global phenomenon of Beatlemania and eventual breakup.
Significantly, the Anthology streaming release has been beautifully restored and expanded from eight to nine episodes. The brand-new ninth episode features illuminating and previously unreleased footage of Paul, George, and Ringo captured during the creation of the original 1990s Anthology project.
The visual and audio quality has been dramatically enhanced for Disney+, with footage restoration and sound mix overseen by the Apple Corps production team working alongside Peter Jackson’s skilled technicians at Park Road Post in New Zealand.
The nine episodes will be released across three days, with Episodes 1–3 launching on November 26, Episodes 4–6 on November 27, and the final Episodes 7–9 on November 28.
"The Beatles Anthology" joins a growing library of iconic Beatles content available in The Beatles Collection on Disney+, including "Let It Be," "Beatles ’64,” and the Emmy Award-winning series, "The Beatles: Get Back."
