Rock behemoths Foo Fighters have announced their first major stadium tour since their 2023-2024 Everything or Nothing at All run, confirming 12 North American dates for the summer and fall of 2026. The tour kicks off on August 4 at Rogers Stadium in Toronto and concludes on September 26 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

In a major addition to the bill, Queens of the Stone Age are set to serve as direct support for nearly all dates, solidifying the tour as one of the year's essential rock events. Frontman Dave Grohl shared his excitement, referencing his decades-long bond with QOTSA's Josh Homme: "So it is with great happiness that we can share this next chapter together with his almighty Queens of the Stone Age. Take cover."

General tickets for all shows go on sale Friday, October 31 at 10 a.m. local time. Full ticketing and pre-sale information is available at foofighters.com.

The tour announcement coincides with the release of the band’s new single, “Asking for a Friend,” out today. The track offers a decidedly darker, more intense shift in energy compared to the recent hit “Today’s Song.” “Asking for a Friend” features hypnotic opening verses that steadily build, ultimately exploding into impassioned refrains that question identity and reality: “What is real? I’m asking for a friend…” The song culminates in a breakneck finish that leaves little doubt about the band’s enduring vitality.

The track, which Grohl describes as being "for those who have waited patiently in the cold, relying on hope and faith for their horizon to appear," signals that more new music is on the way from the lineup of Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee, and drummer Ilan Rubin.
