Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have announced the forthcoming release of a new live album, Live God, a stunning document of their acclaimed The Wild God Tour. Set for release on December 5th via Bad Seed in partnership with Play It Again Sam, the 18-track album aims to capture the "wildly transcendent nature" of the unforgettable shows that Nick Cave himself described as “an antidote to despair.”
The first single from the album, ‘Wild God (Live God),’ is available to stream and download now, complete with an accompanying live video recorded in Paris.
Live God features performances of the entire setlist from the band’s acclaimed 2024 studio album, Wild God. Alongside the new material, the album offers mind-blowing live versions of beloved catalogue favourites, including ‘From Her To Eternity,’ ‘Papa Won’t Leave You, Henry,’ and ‘Into My Arms.’
The live album will be available in multiple physical formats, including a Premium Double Gatefold LP and Double CD, as well as digitally.
The celebratory tour is far from over. After travelling through the UK, Europe, and North America in 2024 and '25, The Wild God Tour will journey to Australia and New Zealand in February 2026. The band will then return to Europe for a monumental run of new outdoor headline shows and festival appearances throughout summer 2026, starting on June 10th at Malahide Castle in Ireland.
The expansive summer itinerary will conclude at the Rock en Seine festival in France on August 28th and includes a now sold-out homecoming show at Preston Park in Brighton on July 31st, marking a landmark moment for the band and the city.
