Multi-platinum UK singer-songwriter Calum Scott has today released his highly anticipated third album, Avenoir, via Capitol Records. The 14-song collection marks a significant evolution for the artist, balancing the signature soul-stirring ballads that have earned him over 10 billion streams—like the new single “Die For You”—with ambitious, groove-steeped romantic anthems.

The album takes its title from a concept meaning "the desire that memory could flow backward." Calum explained, “‘Avenoir’ refers to how we move through life like a rower moves: always moving forward but facing backward, seeing where we’ve been but not where we’re going. The songs on this album speak to both regret and sorrow, and to undying love — a plea to live life to its fullest."

This sense of creative freedom is evident throughout the record. While it features classic Calum with poignant tracks like “Mad,” it also ventures into bold new territory with the funk-laced “Peripheral Vision,” club banger “Roots,” and a country detour on “One More Drink.”

A standout moment is his stunning duet reimagining of “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)” alongside the late, legendary Whitney Houston. Recorded with the endorsement of her estate, this symphonic version subtly transforms the classic into a mood of heavy-hearted longing.

Following the album's release, Calum will embark on "The Avenoir Tour," a global headline run that includes 48 cities across Europe, South Africa, Asia, and North America. UK fans can catch his phenomenal live show at major venues, including London’s OVO Wembley Arena and Manchester’s AO Arena next May. Tickets for the UK and EU legs are on sale now.
