After captivating over 150,000 fans in North America, global superstar Indian artist and two-time Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman is bringing “The Wonderment Tour" to the U.K in October. Concerts West has reported the hugely successful 16-city run grossed more than $12.5 million. "The Wonderment Tour” in North America was presented by Concerts West, along with AEG Presents and Kash Patel Productions. “The Wonderment Tour” premiere concert held in Mumbai on May 3 also drew 40,000 Rahman fans.
Rahman is one of the most celebrated and prolific recording artists and composers in the world, with over 150 million albums sold. As the composer of landmark scores for Slumdog Millionaire (including its global hit single “Jai Ho”), 127 Hours, The Hundred-Foot Journey, Roja, Bombay, Dil Se, Taal, Lagaan, Jodhaa Akbar, and hundreds of other films, Rahman has also earned two GRAMMYs, a Golden Globe, and BAFTA Award among other accolades. His ability to blend classical, electronic, and world music has made him one of the most successful artists in the world and a transformative figure across both Hollywood and Bollywood, and in global music.
As a testament to Rahman’s cross-cultural, worldwide appeal, “The Wonderment Tour” North American leg drew crowds of all ages, with sell-outs in major markets including Boston’s Agganis Arena, Newark’s Prudential Center, Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, Oakland Arena, Dallas’s Texas Trust CU Theatre, Washington D.C.’s. EagleBank Arena, and Chicago’s NOW Arena.

Tickets are on sale now here for three U.K. shows in London at The O2 on October 16, Manchester at Co-op Live on October 17, and Birmingham at Utilita Arena on October 18. The concerts are presented by TEG Europe. “The Wonderment Tour” features Rahman’s visionary ensemble of vocalists and musicians who join him in a genre-spanning live experience. This powerful collaboration seamlessly blends orchestral arrangements, electronic soundscapes, and songs from Indian and global cinema, creating an event that invites audiences to look beyond their expectations and experience the wonder within.
The live immersive experience is layered, emotional, and cinematic, crafted to awaken the senses and connect people through sound and story. Featured artists include Jonita Gandhi, Shweta Pandit, Shuba Vedula (Shuba), Rakshita Suresh, A. R. Ameen, Nakul Abhyankar, Adithya Radhakrishnan (Adithya RK), and Nitesh Aher. Instrumentalists and the touring band include renowned performers Ranjit Barot, Ashwin Srinivasan, Aleif Hamdan, Nilanjana Ghosh Dastidar, and Evelyn Soto.
