Rising singer-songwriter Chloe Stroll gave a sneak peek of her highly anticipated debut album, Bloom in the Break, at an exclusive event in London on Tuesday. The Canadian artist performed three songs from the upcoming album and took part in a Q&A with broadcaster Kate Thornton, sharing personal stories behind her heartfelt music.

The 12-song album, set to be released on September 12th, features collaborations with top-tier producers including Grammy Award-winner Walter Afanasieff (Mariah Carey, Céline Dion), Swagg R’Celious, and Kevin Bard.

During her performance at Langan’s in Mayfair, Stroll captivated the audience with a powerful rendition of "I Stood My Ground." Co-written with Walter Afanasieff, the song is a defiant anthem about holding firm in the face of adversity. Stroll explained that the track draws inspiration from a personal sense of resilience, as well as her love for classic fairytales. “No matter what gets thrown at you, you will stick with who you are and your values,” she said.

Stroll also performed the album’s first single, “You’re OK,” a deeply personal and healing song she wrote about her grandmother. The track touches on the universal experience of loss, finding a way to capture both sadness and acceptance.

The set was rounded out with her “keystone song,” “Home,” a soaring ballad she hopes will become a wedding song for fans. Stroll revealed she wrote the track for her husband, Olympic snowboarder Scotty James, while pregnant with their son. She shared that the song's meaning is already resonating, as her son smiles every time she sings it to him.

With a musical style that balances the raw vulnerability of artists like Lana Del Rey with the powerhouse vocals of Whitney Houston, Chloe Stroll is quickly building a reputation for her relatable storytelling and emotional richness. Fans can pre-save the album now before its official release on Thursday.
