Brian Hardgroove's "Musicians Against Gutting America"
In conjunction with the tour, Public Enemy's longtime collaborator and drummer Brian Hardgroove has launched a significant new initiative: Musicians Against Gutting America. Hardgroove, known for his production work with artists like Bootsy Collins and Stewart Copeland, conceived the project after discussions with Congressman Eugene Vindman.

This grassroots campaign aims to safeguard democracy, freedom, and human rights across the United States by countering authoritarian power-grabs. Hardgroove has released a new song titled “Do Something,” featuring the voices of Eugene Vindman, President Barack Obama, and Michelle Obama. The track is available for free download at www.musiciansagainstguttingamerica.com/songs, and Hardgroove encourages its use to inspire action and demonstrate opposition to what he describes as the current government’s actions under the Trump administration.

“My life has been spent creating music with a message, but now more than ever we need to protect and flex the power of the people,” Hardgroove stated. “’Do Something’ is for everyone to use, to inspire, to act and support. America must stand strong now.”

Musicians Against Gutting America is committed to opposing the dismantling of core American values and defeating candidates who endorse extreme authoritarian agendas. It serves as a call to action for voters, organizations, public servants, and musicians dedicated to a future built on justice and constitutional integrity.
