The highly anticipated White Label Auction in Aid of The BRIT Trust is set to return for its sixth edition on Tuesday, October 7th, 2025. This unique event, the world's only known auction dedicated to "white label" test pressings, has already raised over £160,000 for The BRIT Trust, supporting vital causes that leverage the power of music for education and well-being.

Music enthusiasts and collectors will have the chance to bid on hundreds of rare lots, including artist-signed items and, notably, an original test copy of Queen's iconic "Bohemian Rhapsody" from 1975. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the groundbreaking single's release, making this particular lot an incredibly significant piece of music history. The 7-inch test pressing, with "I'm In Love with My Car" on its B-side, was generously donated by David Munns OBE, who was EMI's head of marketing during the original Queen campaign.

White label test pressings are extremely rare, with only a handful produced for quality control before a record's official release. "As the past five editions of the auction have shown, there is demand for them from collectors around the world," says Johnny Chandler, founder and organiser of the auction. He expressed excitement for this upcoming event, especially with the inclusion of the "Bohemian Rhapsody" gem, noting, "Once again huge thanks in advance to everyone who makes the White Label Auction possible, as we continue to support the important work of The BRIT Trust."

Hosted by Omega Auctions, specialists in music memorabilia and vinyl records, the event is made possible by the generosity of numerous artists and record labels, including Universal Music UK, Sony Music UK, AWAL, BMG, Cherry Red Records, and Warner Music UK. The funds raised directly benefit The BRIT Trust's mission to improve lives through music, supporting organisations like The BRIT School, Nordoff and Robbins, and Music Support. This auction promises another exciting opportunity for collectors to acquire unique items while contributing to a worthy cause.
