Download Festival has wrapped its most anticipated edition yet, drawing over 75,000 enthusiastic fans to a sun-drenched Donington Park for five unforgettable days. The 22nd iteration of the iconic rock, metal, and alternative music festival marked a significant new chapter, with all three headliners taking the top slot for the very first time.
Green Day, Sleep Token, and Korn delivered incredible, high-octane performances that solidified their fresh headliner status. Green Day kicked off the main stage spectacles on Friday with a hit-filled set, followed by Sleep Token's spellbinding and theatrical show on Saturday. Korn brought the weekend to a thunderous close on Sunday, unleashing a powerful torrent of nu-metal anthems.
Beyond the headliners, the festival boasted noteworthy performances from a diverse range of artists including Weezer, Bullet For My Valentine, Jimmy Eat World, McFly, The Darkness, and Within Temptation. A surprise secret set from Malevolence also added to the weekend's memorable moments.
The District X area kept campers entertained non-stop with everything from morning workouts to late-night DJ sets, including appearances from Vengaboys, Dougie Poynter (McFly), and Dani Filth (Cradle of Filth). New additions like a SÉANCE experience, skate ramps, and axe throwing further enhanced the festival's unique offering.
