In the 2025 King's New Year Honours, Caroline Redman Lusher, the founder of ROCK CHOIR, the world’s largest contemporary choir, was recognised with a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for her contributions to music and charitable work.

Caroline will receive her MBE next Tuesday,10th June at Buckingham Palace. What she isn't aware of is that 60 members of Rock Choir will be congregating in the courtyard at The Savoy Hotel to 'surprise' her with their own Rock Choir style musical congratulatory message, as she arrives for a family lunch following the official ceremony!

Rock Choir, now a household name, has over 33,000 members, known affectionately as ‘Rockies,’ participating in weekly rehearsals located in 400 groups right across the UK. It serves as a community and a lifeline for many. The choir’s unique approach, which combines singing popular music with a sense of community and support, has made it a phenomenon, touching the lives of countless individuals. Rock Choir is continually raising money for many good causes, both in the 400 communities and via their wider activities, raising more than £3.5 million for charity since its launch in 2005.

As they celebrate their 20th anniversary this year, Rock Choir continues to offer unique and often once in a life-time performance opportunities to its members, while giving back to the community.
