Rising star Alice Offley, is launching her new project with a sassy song of defiance; describing what it’s truly like to be an urban female in the 21st century.

Featuring a ear-twisting sound with punk spirit, the single is a forerunner for her forthcoming album that delivers a contemporary mix of pop and R’n’B, while lyrically tackling issues that she’s faced at work and in relationships. Alice specifically aims to share her experiences to empower others.

A highly-respected piano and bass supremo, Alice has generated an enviable reputation for her energised playing and vocals alongside Tom Bailey of the Thompson Twins, Tricky and Cyndi Lauper.

New music pioneer Tom Robinson is currently championing Alice on BBC6Music, and has chosen her to be the opening act during his nationwide summer tour in August.

Is It Because I’m A Woman? is set for release in the UK on 6th June 2025.
