Chart-topping, multi-platinum, and BRIT Award-winning artist James Morrison has officially announced his highly anticipated sixth studio album, 'Fight Another Day,' set for release on October 3rd, 2025. This marks his first full-length album in six years, promising a deeply personal and emotionally charged collection of songs.

The announcement arrives alongside the immediate release of the album's title track and lead single, also titled 'Fight Another Day.' Fans can listen to the powerful new track now.

Morrison describes 'Fight Another Day' as a record born from difficult times and heavy emotions, ultimately leaning into themes of light, joy, and hope. “When I leaned into how I was feeling, that's when the songs started coming. Every day being a bit of a battle. Trying to eke the light out after what felt like darkness for ages,” he shared. He expresses immense pride in the album's creative and sonic elements, hoping the songs will resonate with listeners and encourage them to "feel better and… singalong.”

The album's title track, 'Fight Another Day,' was a pivotal song that set the emotional tone for the entire record. Morrison explains, “It just sums up what the record is. It’s about reminding yourself what's good. About convincing yourself you've got enough strength to keep the fight going.”

Entirely co-produced by James himself, the album retains his signature gravelly blues/soul vocal and flair for dramatic power ballads, while also incorporating influences from artists like Stevie Wonder, George Harrison, Imagine Dragons, and AWOLNATION. Collaborators on the album include two-time Ivor Novello winner Eg White, Daniel Merriweather, Connor Reeves, and Andy Platt.
