Latitude Festival is set to return to Henham Park from July 24 to 27, 2025, with an ambitious and expanded program for its Literary, Theatre, and Dance stages. This year promises an exhilarating blend of bold voices, big ideas, and unmissable live performances, cementing Latitude's reputation as a hub for cultural discourse and artistic innovation.
The Listening Post and the newly expanded Latitude Bookshop will host an impressive array of bestselling authors, acclaimed podcasters, and cultural commentators. Highlights include The Booker Prize presenting "Read Like a Judge" with Chris Power and Gaby Wood, Virgin Radio's Adam Buxton with his new memoir, and Anna Smith's "Girls on Film" featuring Romola Garai, Susan Wokoma, and Jane Horrocks. The Bookshop will offer intimate readings, signings, and Q&As, celebrating the written word in all its forms.
The Comedy Arena, presented by TK Maxx, boasts a stellar lineup, including the triumphant return of Jordan Gray with her signature blend of social commentary and musical hilarity. Festival favorite Marcus Brigstocke will deliver razor-sharp satire, alongside fresh perspectives from Jin Hao Li and the relatable humor of Lee Peart.
Latitude 2025 also elevates its live performance offerings with a dynamic Theatre and Dance season. House of Oz brings an electrifying lineup of Australian talent, including the breathtaking acrobatics of Gravity & Other Myths with "Ten Thousand Hours" and the stunning fusion of movement and light in Lewis Major's "Triptych." Michelle Pearson's "Skinny" and Madelaine Nunn's "FLICK" promise compelling storytelling and dark comedy.
The Waterfront Stage will become a vibrant hub for movement, curated by leading UK dance organizations like DanceEast, The Place, and London City Ballet. Audiences can anticipate James Wilton Dance's "BACH Reimagined," Seeta Patel Dance's "Rite of Spring," and the graceful return of London City Ballet with "Soft Shore."
Melvin Benn, Latitude founder and Festival Director, emphasized the festival's commitment to storytelling and live performance. "In 2025, we are amplifying our literary presence like never before… This year’s lineup not only entertains and inspires but also reinforces our commitment to storytelling, bold ideas, cultural discourse, and live performance."
