Cornwall’s most eccentric music festival, The Great Estate, has announced an electrifying 2025 lineup with Britpop icons Supergrass, Madchester legends Happy Mondays, and electronic trailblazers Leftfield set to headline. Returning to the lush grounds of Scorrier Estate from Friday 30 May to Sunday 1 June, the three-day celebration promises a heady mix of music, immersive arts, and culinary adventure.

Taking centre stage on Saturday night, Supergrass will bring their energetic back catalogue, spanning six albums, to a festival they’re no strangers to. Having recorded their seminal debut I Should Coco in Cornwall back in 1994, the band’s return is a full-circle moment. With hits like Alright, Pumping on Your Stereo and Moving, their set is expected to be a nostalgic rollercoaster for fans of 90s Britpop.

On Sunday, electronic duo Leftfield will close the weekend with their genre-defining sound. Their 1995 album Leftism – a Mercury Prize nominee – remains one of dance music’s most acclaimed releases. Known for their thunderous live shows and fusion of dub, house, and techno, they’ll provide a euphoric finish to the festivities.

Meanwhile, Happy Mondays, fronted by Shaun Ryder, bring their anarchic energy and cult classics like Step On and Kinky Afro to the main stage. As one of the most influential bands of the early 90s, their performance will be a must-see moment.

Beyond the music, The Great Estate transforms Scorrier’s historic parklands into a playground of eccentric experiences. Expect immersive theatre, comedy, dance, fire dancers, circus workshops, and even a Victorian Sports Day. Food lovers can feast al fresco at long communal tables hosted by local chefs, while wellness seekers can unwind in wood-fired saunas or take a dip in the estate’s private pool.

Also performing are Jaguar Skills, Gasper Nali, and Ez Dickens, alongside rising stars on the BBC Introducing stage.
