Scottish indie-rock heroes The Fratellis have announced a highly anticipated UK tour for February 2026, celebrating two decades since the release of their seminal debut album, 'Costello Music'. Fans can look forward to reliving the electrifying energy of tracks that defined a generation as the band takes this milestone record back to the stage.
Released in autumn 2006, 'Costello Music' catapulted The Fratellis into the mainstream with its irresistible blend of catchy guitar hooks and Jon Fratelli's distinctive, swaggering vocals. The album quickly became a staple of British guitar music, spawning singalong anthems like "Henrietta," the slightly more reflective "Whistle for the Choir," and, of course, the truly iconic "Chelsea Dagger," a song that has since become a fixture at sporting events and celebrations worldwide.
Almost twenty years on, the band is set to embark on an extensive twelve-date tour, kicking off at Nottingham's Rock City on February 5th, 2026. The journey will see them grace some of the UK's most beloved venues, including Manchester Albert Hall, Liverpool Olympia, and London's prestigious Hammersmith Eventim Apollo, before concluding at NX in Newcastle on February 20th. This tour follows a busy summer for the band, which includes a performance on the Avalon Stage at Glastonbury, ensuring they'll be in prime form to deliver a nostalgic yet fresh performance of their breakthrough material.
