Pop star and TikTok darling Jax has never shied away from telling it like it is. From her breakout single “Victoria’s Secret” to her unfiltered online presence, she’s become something of a big-sister figure for a generation of teens navigating self-doubt, social pressure, and the chaos of growing up online.

Now, she’s doubling down on her commitment to youth mental health by partnering with Musicat TV, a rising teen-powered wellness brand that blends entertainment with empowerment. Their latest collaboration—a deeply personal interview, a global songwriting competition, and a feel-good jingle campaign—is part of a bold effort to amplify youth voices and spark meaningful conversations through music.

In a recent sit-down on The Musicat Show, Musicat TV’s animated-meets-live-action wellness series, Jax opened up to teen hosts about her own struggles with anxiety, self-worth, and staying true to herself in an industry built on perfection. “The one thing I wish every teen knew is that you're not alone—ever. And your voice matters,” she said. And coming from someone who went viral for calling out toxic beauty standards, those words land with weight.

But this isn’t just talk—Jax also served as a judge for Musicat Heals Your Heart, a global songwriting contest that invited teens from around the world to write songs about healing and hope. The winning entry? A moving track by Freddie Vokes, a talented teen from Nottingham, UK. Vokes now gets the chance to record with reggae legend Maxi Priest and take home a $1,000 prize. Not bad for a bedroom recording.

And the music doesn’t stop there. The campaign continues with Musicat Heals Your Soul, a worldwide jingle contest where kids and teens create short songs or chants centered on self-love, positivity, and resilience. The best of the best will be mentored by guest artists, featured on Musicat TV, and even broadcast in hospitals across the country via a partnership with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation.

Musicat TV is fast becoming a standout in the growing world of youth wellness media. Built for teens and by teens, it’s part YouTube show, part animated series, and part musical movement—all with a mission to help young people express themselves and connect through creativity. Since launching, Musicat has reached thousands of young creators and now airs in 15 children’s hospitals nationwide.

“Having someone like Jax share her truth with our teen hosts means the world,” said Musicat TV co-founder Sage Christensen. “She inspires honesty, creativity, and strength—and that’s exactly what this movement is about.”

If you’re a young musician or know one, entries for the Musicat Heals Your Soul contest are open now through July 1, 2025, at musicattv.com.
