Internationally acclaimed British-Italian soprano Carly Paoli will make her eagerly anticipated solo West End debut this summer. Carly Paoli and Friends – Hollywood to Broadway will light up the historic Theatre Royal Drury Lane on Sunday, 13 July 2025, for one spectacular evening of song, dance, and orchestral brilliance.

Paoli, renowned for her luminous voice and global performances from the Vatican to the London Palladium, will be joined by two very special guests: legendary Italian singer and actor Al Bano and powerhouse American gospel tenor David Phelps. Together, they will celebrate the golden eras of Hollywood and Broadway, performing beloved film and musical theatre anthems.

The evening promises an emotional and thrilling programme. Highlights will include solo sets from Paoli, Al Bano performing his classics Nel Sole and Caruso, and David Phelps delivering soaring renditions of Somewhere from West Side Story and The Impossible Dream. Paoli will also duet with both guest stars, marking her first live collaboration with Phelps after their long-distance recording during lockdown.

Orchestral accompaniment will be provided by musicians from the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, conducted by Jae Alexander, known for his work on iconic West End productions like 42nd Street and Sister Act. Paoli and Alexander share a special artistic bond, having previously collaborated on BBC Music Day.

Reflecting on the event, Paoli said, “This concert is a dream come true. To perform songs I love, with artists I deeply admire, in one of the world’s most iconic theatres—it’s something I will cherish forever.”

Inspired by her lifelong love of the timeless melodies of Hollywood and Broadway, Carly’s performance will blend classical crossover elegance with cinematic grandeur, promising an unforgettable night for audiences.
