An incredible line-up of musical legends, world-class performers and party starters has been announced for London’s critically acclaimed open-air concert series South Facing Festival, bringing together some of the most influential acts of all time.

A brand new disco, soul and electronic all-dayer on Friday, 26 July, will welcome one of the most iconic figures in music, Grace Jones, alongside Roisin Murphy and others. American synth-pop band Future Islands will perform their highly anticipated London live date on 27 July, followed by Dancehall sensation and international superstar Popcaan, who is set to make history as he brings his highly acclaimed Unruly Fest to London with Spice and others on 28 July.

One of the greatest hip-hop line-ups of the past decade will perform on 1 August; The Roots, De La Soul and The Pharcyde boast reputations as the most prolific rap groups of all time. Championing soul, R&B, and alternative sounds Cloud X bring its intimate RnB show to its home of South London on 2 Aug, and trailblazing Amapiano duo Major League DJz bring its Balcony Mix London to the party on 3rd August.

Yussef Dayes presents Summer Dayes on Sunday, August 4th, featuring yoga classes and West Indian food offerings alongside a soundtrack of Dayes’ inimitable contemporary jazz. Jess Glynne will bring all her hits to a huge open-air show on Friday, 9th August, and a world of rhythm and soul awaits with Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, the revolutionary Steel Pulse, the enigmatic Kabaka Pyramid and more on 10th August.

South Facing is a multi-day, open-air festival that takes place each summer in the historically significant Crystal Palace Bowl. The festival boasts a huge choice of top-end street food and drink options and is easily accessible from London and all over the South East thanks to the various train and bus routes, including Crystal Palace (TfL Overground and National Rail), Penge West (TfL Overground and National Rail), and Gipsy Hill (National Rail).

Debuting in 2021, South Facing was created with the ultimate goal of having reduced environmental impact. South Facing works with local partners while setting high standards in sustainability for everything from audience experience and travel to recyclable and compostable products.

Previous years have included headline slots from Supergrass, Sleaford Mods, Max Richter and The English National Opera, Dizzee Rascal, and has since seen artists including London Grammar, Richard Ashcroft, Becky Hill, Bombay Bicycle Club, Jungle, Craig David, James, Rudimental and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds grace the stage.
