Already emerging as a true gem of the global festival calendar in 2024, Flow Festival Helsinki is set to continue its sterling reputation as an undeniable hub of modern arts and culture - revealing more unmissable names set to take the stage in the heart of the Finnish capital this August!

Founded in 2004, Flow Festival has grown from an intimate club gathering of 4,000 attendees to a globally recognized music and city festival drawing over 90,000 fans each and every year. In 2007, Flow found its home in the striking old power plant grounds at Suvilahti in Helsinki, a site that has since become synonymous with the festival's identity. During its twenty years of operation, Flow has established its place as one of Europe's most unique festival experiences and, in the summer of 2024, will celebrate the past and future with another unmissable European festival weekend.

Leading the third wave of names announced for Flow Festival 2024, is an artist who's soared from self-released sensation to global icon: Halsey. With a discography spanning genre-defying albums like "Badlands" and "If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power," Halsey has redefined storytelling in music. From honest lyricism to visionary music videos and film direction, her artistry resonates deeply with audiences worldwide. Prepare for an unforgettable performance at this year's festival as Halsey graces the stage, promising a mesmerising showcase of creativity and the profound impact of self-expression.

Continuing the powerhouse lineup, another multi-talented force joins the ranks: Janelle Monáe. A force to be reckoned with in the realms of music, film, and fashion, Monáe's influence knows no bounds. With an impressive 10 Grammy nominations under her belt, she stands as a beacon of excellence in the industry. Alongside her is the incomparable Vince Staples, who has solidified his place as a trailblazer in contemporary hip-hop. With critically acclaimed albums like "Summertime '06" and "Big Fish Theory," he effortlessly navigates themes of identity, culture, and societal issues. With undeniable talent from every artist gracing the stage at Flow Festival 2024, delivering performances that are bound to leave a lasting impression on all who attend.



Joining them as freshly announced today is the uniquely talented Norwegian pop star, Aurora with her long-awaited fourth album, "What Happened To The Heart?" releasing in June 2024, Aurora is renowned as the voice of ethereal and atmospheric pop music for the new age. Also joining the roster is Amaarae, who catapulted to stardom with her 2021 breakout hit "Sad Girlz Luv Money" and last year's acclaimed album "Fountain Baby," alongside Yves Tumor, famed for pushing the boundaries of contemporary art and culture through experimental pop music. Electronic music lovers are in for a treat with Barry Can't Swim, whose debut album garnered acclaim upon its release last October, and Evian Christ, who innovatively fuses trance and hyperpop elements in his Live AV show. Additionally, house legend Ron Trent will present his multi-genre experimental project, "Ron Trent Presents WARM," ensuring a diverse and electrifying experience for all.

Flow Festival not only hosts a lineup of global sensations but also shines a spotlight on Finland's vibrant music scene. Among the homegrown talents gracing the stage are Gasellit, known for their numerous hits and electrifying live performances; Malla, who's reshaping Finnish-language club music with her unique style; Lauri Haav, a pioneer in the Finnish music scene; and SMC, the iconic rap group set to deliver an unforgettable final festival performance. Additionally, festival-goers can look forward to Turisti, one of the country's most promising new rap artists; Grande Mahogany, whose fusion of funk, alternative rock, prog, R&B, psychedelia, and experimental sounds captivates audiences; and Goldielocks, an intriguing newcomer to the domestic pop scene.

These names join an already formidable programme of exciting boundary-breakers, influential icons, exhilarating and trail-blazing new talent and waiting-to-be-discovered game-changers, including the likes of Fred again.., Pulp, RAYE, The Smile, PJ Harvey, Idles, Jessie Ware, Overmono, Blonde Redhead, Alvvays, Miriam Bryant, Artemas and Kenya Grace as well as celebrated Finnish talent such as ibe, Arppa presenting a special performance titled Arppa & Sunnuntain seireenit, Antti Autio offering an exclusive performance of his anticipated new album in full, Monkey Mind, Tinyhawk & Bizzarro and Joalin.
