UK Country sensations First Time Flyers release their new single ‘Looking Back Now’ this Friday April 12th co-written with Jeff Cohen (Sugarland, The Shires).
‘Looking Back Now’ has a sense of nostalgia from the very first line. Traditional Nashville storytelling with rich 4-part vocal harmonies that are fast becoming the band’s trademark sound.
First Time Flyers are Vicki Manser, Jake Morrell, Poppy Fardell & Tim Prottey -Jones. The band launched to rave reviews in 2023 and a successful first year followed including a sell-out tour, a bunch of festivals and a slot supporting Bruce Springsteen at BST Hyde Park.
In 2024 the band have already sold-out Nashville Sounds in the Round in Birmingham, have sold-out their Nashville Meets London show at Pizza Express in March. They go on tour supporting Jamie Lawson in April (Omeara London April 9th, Bodega Nottingham April 14th, The Music Room Liverpool Philharmonic April 16th & The Louisiana Bristol April 18th) They are headlining Country In the Afternoon Festival in London on May 19th. The band also play Buckle & Boots Festival on May 25th, the British Country Music Festival in Blackpool on Aug 31st and the Small Town Big Festival in Bristol on Sept 7th.
