Rising UK singer-songwriter, and artist behind the infamous ‘Mike Dean Song’ (That Peter Crouch Podcast), Joel Stewart, announces new single, the first from forthcoming EP The Fountain, ‘Lost With You’ - available on all platforms from 22nd March.

Following the success of his early singles and collaborations, earning the Hertfordshire-born artist over 25 million streams, Joel Stewart has been on an impressive trajectory since his first release in 2019. While no stranger to large audiences - he performed his ‘Mike Dean Song’ to 10,000 at Wembley Arena for Crouch Fest 2 - there is a vibrant intimacy to his music that new single ‘Lost With You’ encapsulates beautifully.

Described by the artist as ‘music that feels like a hug’, ‘Lost With You’ is emotive and inviting like a sonic soup for the soul. Stacked falsetto vocals paired with a deep lying harmony nod to the influence of Justin Vernon (Bon Iver). Driving acoustic guitars and rich harmonics offer both delicate beauty and rousing urgency as Stewart ponders the dualities of life: ‘Yeah we all know it's coming to an end, we’d just rather stay aloof’, underscoring the track’s core message that getting lost in the moment with a loved one is the ultimate solace amidst the chaos of the world.

Joel Stewart says: “I couldn't be more proud of this one. I have always loved music that sounds like a hug, and feel like this song fits that category. It’s a track for this time of the year, as we head from the cold winter months into a warmer world. I guess that reflects hope which ultimately is the theme behind the song. It is about how chaotic the world can be, and how when I get stressed all I want to do is go get lost (somewhere) with 'you'.”
