Global star Kane Brown, one of country music’s most accomplished mainstays, delivered an unforgettable experience at Europe’s biggest country music festival Country 2 Country (C2C) this weekend. Taking centre stage for three headline shows on March 8th, 9th, and 10th at The O2 Arena London, SSE Arena Belfast, and OVO Hydro Glasgow, respectively, Brown showcased to thousands of country music fans his exceptional ability to bridge genres and solidified his status as the “future of country music” (Billboard).
Addressing a packed O2 in London on Friday night, his largest performance in the UK to date, Kane expressed his distinctive approach to country music, "I'm a little bit different - I'm the outsider in country music!” Before adding, “I'm a walking jukebox, but country music is my first love.”
Each night saw Kane Brown taking thousands of fans on a journey through his hits, including “Like I Love Country Music,” “I Can Feel It,” “Bury Me in Georgia,” “Memory,” and “Famous Friends.” A gig with Kane Brown has it all; a dynamic blend of classic country with hints of rock, strings, drum & bass vibes in between, all enhanced by the addition of some very special guests.
Joined on stage by longtime friend and fellow C2C performer Lauren Alaina, the duo delivered a brilliant collaboration with their song "What Ifs." Kane also surprised fans by bringing out Carly Pearce, also on the C2C billing, to join him for their first-ever live performance together, "Thank God," the 3× Platinum smash hit released with his wife, Katelyn Brown.
From the mellower moments in the show to the electrifying hits sung to a backdrop of flames and lasers illuminating the stage, Kane consistently captivated the crowds each night. Georgia-born Kane Brown, who boasts having over 15 billion global streams under his belt, makes and breaks records wherever he goes; from being the first black male solo country artist to perform at the BET Awards to being the first black artist in country music to earn a Diamond certification with an original song. As the Daily Telegraph puts it “Headliner Kane Brown best summed up country’s new dawn.” And it won’t be long until he’s back in the UK, ready to break more ground on both sides of the pond.
