Luísa Sonza, the Brazilian pop phenomenon, was celebrated last night as a Global Force at the Billboard Women In Music awards at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, making history as the only Brazilian being honored at the esteemed event. In addition to receiving the Global Force award for her international charttopping hits, the artist was also a featured performer. For her song selections, the singer gave a powerhouse duo performance of her hit single “Penhasco2” alongside Demi Lovato who also joined her on stage for the song. For the first time ever, Luísa also performed her new single “Chico” (English Version), which comes out on Thursday, March 7th at 7PM ET via Sony Music Entertainment Brasil/5020 Records.
