Renowned singer-songwriter Gareth Dunlop today released his brand new single ‘All We’ll Ever Need’, a soul-stirring, heart-grabbing anthem that calls his listeners into a sanctuary of serenity amidst the whirlwind of life.

Dunlop’s signature velvety croon, suffused with glowing warmth, emerges with a gentle sunrise, accompanied by the delicate plucks of a violin. His opening lines, “Wrap yourself around me as tight as you can / Get me out of my own head and into your hands / Let’s just let the world keep turning while stay right where we stand,” echo with so much love and tenderness. Erupting into its bright chorus, the once-gentle melody swells, embracing Dunlop’s ethereal falsetto as if to lift it towards the heavens. Dunlop beckons us to escape the chaos and noise that besieges us and climb into his realm of warmth and familiarity, of intimacy and respite, in a cacophonous world.

Gareth notes that he “wrote this song around a pretty chaotic period of time... I’d been on the road touring a lot, and when I wasn’t doing that, I was travelling for studio work and writing. It was one of those seasons where it’s hard to catch a breath. ‘All We’ll Ever Need’ is about making that moment to shut the world out for a bit... and hold on tight to what really matters.”

‘All We’ll Ever Need’ is marked as the third instalment to come from his upcoming studio album, ‘Welcome to the House of I Don’t Know’, out on June 14th. His new album veers Dunlop in a new direction, into a sea of hope, as demonstrated in this new track. With each note, with each word, Dunlop invites us to immerse ourselves in the moment, to revel in the simple joy of being alive, and to cherish the bonds that tie us together.
