Berlin electronic producer and multi-instrumentalist Parra For Cuva unveils the second single from his fifth studio album due to be released in April, ‘Let It Burn.’ The track is accompanied by the official video.

Parra for Cuva, the renowned German electronic producer and multi-instrumentalist, returns to mesmerize audiences once more with the release of the second single off his forthcoming LP - ‘Let It Burn’. The song features the Berlin-based BiPoc choir project A Song For You alongside British artist and guitarist Beau Diako, showcasing a new facet within the Parra For Cuva soundscape. This invigorating indie pop anthem summons further anticipation for Mimose, the hitmaker’s upcoming fifth studio album.

Following the release of his first single from his recently announced upcoming album ‘Mimose’, Parra for Cuva shares the second release in the form of euphoric anthem ‘Let It Burn’. A captivating alt-pop ballad, infused with liberating tones and a true sense of purpose, the single is driven by a glistening production and lo-fi vocals from Berlin-based choir A Song For You, a dynamic Berlin-based choir and ensemble project. Bringing together over 50 voices from the city's vibrant R&B and soul scene, with the atmosphere of the song constantly ascending through percussive hand claps and an effervescent lively tone. On the track, he adds: “‘Let It Burn’ is inspired by ‘Bed on Fire’ by Teddy Swims. When I saw a stripped-down acoustic version of the song, I was impressed and started working on my version right away. I was looking for a choir that could add a gospel-esque atmosphere to it.” The pre-chorus amplifies the excitement creating a vibrant energy, leading to the compelling chorus that chants: “Let it burn, let it burn, let it burn, let it burn on down, Let it burn on down, Let it burn on down.” The song maintains its upbeat tempo through its harmonious mixing of bass, drums, vocals, and Beau Diako’s polished guitar backing.

Parra for Cuva's sonic identity can be encapsulated in a single word: Wanderlust. Renowned for a distinct sense of worldliness, his music, combined with stunning visuals, creates a magical realm where the resonance of Caribbean steel drums may intertwine with ancient Zimbabwean instruments and transports the listener to distant lands. The artist’s upcoming album promises to follow suit, with his newest project produced during his recent travels and is subsequently titled after the German Mimose, a flower that blooms in Italy, where the majority of the tracks were brought to life.

In recent times, the artist has been supported through press by the likes of Resident Advisor, Electronic Groove, and EDM.com, performances at Burning Man, Sziget and a prolific Cercle set that went viral, there is every reason to be excited. However, What sets Parra for Cuva apart is not only his musical prowess but also his visually enchanting live sets. Each live performance is a sensorial experience, carefully curated to match the unique and otherworldly aesthetic of his music. The artist has sold out shows at E1 and KOKO, and appearances at Junction 2 and an upcoming live show at Drumsheds for Drumcode on the same lineup as Adam Beyer, Yotto, Kolsch and others, 2024 is shaping up to be a monstrous year for Parra for Cuva.
