Caity Baser, the BRIT-nominated breakthrough star has released her brand new single and video, ‘I’m A Problem’, out now via EMI Records/Chosen Music.

Brimming with her trademark personality, catchy melodies and empowered fuck-you confidence, the single - which was co-written by Caity - was inspired by recent real life experiences. Caity says:

“‘I’m A Problem’ is the epitome of female rage and cuntiness! It’s for all the people that are ‘too loud’ or ‘annoying’ - there is nothing wrong with being confident and living life hard! The people that hate on you are just jealous and they wanna be like you COS YOU’RE A PROBLEM! Feel empowered. Feel happy. Feel cunty. And don’t let anybody get in your way. That’s what I do - life is literally a giggle so do what you want; nobody cares - stay problematic.”

The video for ‘I’m A Problem’, also out now, stars Caity herself performing the song along with some group choreography dance moves for the first time. Joined by an ensemble of performers, Baser reads all the online hate she has received and fights it with her unbridled energy and attitude; culminating in a messy paint gun fight. The video was shot at Silvertown Studios in London and was directed by Olivia Rose of Amelia Studios Productions.

A BRIT nomination, inclusion on The BBC’s coveted Sound Of 2024 list and chosen as one to watch by a host of music media outlets across the country: it’s already shaping up to be a big year ahead for Southampton-born Caity Baser.
