Since the end of last year, fans worldwide have been enthralled with excitement for the highly anticipated, RAVE:N, The Remixes album. Kelela is known for her exquisite decorum and musicality that thrives in every piece of work she releases. After a long hiatus, it was cosmic when the original RAVEN album debuted and sent shockwaves into the ether. A blissfully crafted project that became such a palate cleanser for Kelela and fans alike. However, her innovation has no bounds or limits to what she can create. As she began to tease the project in October, it felt as if she was cracking the code to her own sound- reconceptualizing it to deliver something fresh and new. Each track has a reminiscence of its predecessor such as singles like 'Happy Ending (A.G Remix)' and Contact '(Karen Nyame KG Remix)' which were paired with otherworldly vignettes adding visual depictions of her artistry.

From old friends to dream collaborations, Kelela teams up with artists such as Featured in LSDXOXO, Yaeji, Shygirl, BAMBII, Liv.e, Asmara, Ms. Carrie Stacks and more. This eclectic masterpiece illustrates the breadth and depth of Kelela’s reach as well as the profound presence of Black and Brown artists and producers in dance music.
