Mura Masa and Big Freedia team up for viral remix 'Wiggle It' from 'Monkeys Spinning Monkeys'

Grammy Award winning artist Mura Masa has teamed up with New Orleans bounce sensation Big Freedia to rework one of social media’s most viral songs on the electrifying new single "Wiggle It" - out today on all streaming platforms via The Other Songs.
"Wiggle It” was first premiered on social media through the animated series ‘Good Morning Kevin’, which tells the story of a loveable bear trapped in space who loves nothing more than producing beats on his MPC.
The track sees Kevin The Bear teaming up with Mura Masa and Big Freedia to remix the viral sensation "Monkeys Spinning Monkeys" - the soundtrack to millions of TikToks and Instagram reels, which has become one of the most listened to pieces of music in internet history.
Together they’ve put their own spin on the song, which receives a bouncing beat from Mura Masa for Big Freedia to deliver her energetic vocals over.
Fresh from producing last year’s smash global hit “Boy’s A Liar” with PinkPantheress, Mura Masa is a uniquely talented songwriter with a knack for curating global sounds. He’s become a celebrated artist for both his solo material and his productions for other talent, working with the likes of BTS, A$AP Rocky, Nao and many others.
A veteran of the New Orleans music scene who took the city’s bounce music movement national, Big Freedia is a globally recognized hip-hop artist, TV personality and cultural influencer. She has collaborated with many of the world’s biggest stars including on Beyoncé’s Grammy-Award winning single, “Break My Soul,” and Drake’s “Nice for What”, plus her own full length LP featuring Lil Wayne, Ciara and more.
Good Morning Kevin is an animated story tailor-made for distribution on social media platforms. Crafted by the renowned Pixar animator Andrew Gordon, the series comprises over 100 distinct 15-second animations set to be unveiled over the next year. In his debut release in December, Kevin showcased a Garage-inspired track featuring the legendary Nottingham MC Window Kid. Other collaborations include with Sam Ryder, who voices on the series as RANDI, Kevin's A.I. robot companion.
