Idris Elba releases 'Knives Down' demanding UK Government action on serious youth violence

Idris has just launched a new campaign in the fight against serious youth violence, calling upon the government and technology companies to play their role in eradicating it from the streets of the UK.



There was an activation at Parliament Square this morning where the square was filled with folded last outfits from some of the victims of 2023.

In conjunction with this, Idris has just dropped a single and music video which features DB Maz and is produced by Fraser T Smith and FaNaTiX. 'Knives Down' features hard hitting lyrics which urge Parliament to take urgent action, having neglected addressing the issue for too long.

With this poignant new release, the actor and activist launches ‘Don’t Stop Your Future’ campaign, which demands UK Government take immediate action to prevent serious youth violence.
