Australian Indie rockers, The Terrys today release the madcap video for their recent single, the hazy laid back ‘No Bad Days’.

The sun drenched video features the band performing on a building site where a builder having a streak of bad luck dances in the face of his troubles.

The band recently announced they are about to embark on a musical adventure like no other with the upcoming release of their second album, 'Skate Pop.’ Representing a playground for the band’s unbridled creativity and varied influences, this hotly anticipated album is set for release on February 23, 2024.

Following an acclaimed run of shows earlier this year (including a sold-out performance at London’s Islington Academy) The Terrys will return to the EU and UK in 2024 for a full album tour, bringing their high energy live rock n roll to stages across the continent.

For a band that only formed three years ago, The Terrys have been on a meteoric rise. Having accumulated over 40 million streams, had their debut album land at #3 in the Aus Album ARIA Charts, two appearances in triple j’s Hottest 100 and three in the Hottest 200, sold out shows and tours across Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Europe, the band still feel they’re only just getting started. Recently they recorded their sophomore album in Byron Bay with producer Chris Collins (Gang of Youths, Skegss, Greta Ray). So far we’ve heard ‘Silent Disco’ that broke The Terrys into new waters receiving their first support from UK’s most influential tastemakers including BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, Radio X and more. We were then blessed with ‘Clouds’, a single that was selected by The Terrys’ fans themselves. Today, we see all influences of The Terrys collide into a magical melting pot where Jamie T meets Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and it’s also the first song written by the band’s bass player, Trent Cooper.

Speaking on ‘No Bad Days’, Trent explains “I think the idea was born from listening to a tonne of Red Hot Chilli Peppers over my early years of life and it’s something that I’m super happy to be a part of as it’s a taste of what music inspired me to start jamming up in the shed with Cameron and then ultimately with The Terrys”. Lead singer, ‘Finchy,’ adds the unique inspiration behind the lyrics: "The lyrics came about after I asked a lovely old bloke in the bottle shop how his day's been and he said 'no bad days mate.' At that time, I was having a rather unusual day, so I said in my head, 'there's no bad days until you have a bad day.' Then I thought, yep, that's a lyric, so I wrote it down in my notes. A few weeks later, we were in the studio for the first time with Chris, and Trent was laying down the most emotional bass line as the start of a new song. I knew it was the perfect opportunity to drop the lyrics in." 'No Bad Days' is set to become an anthem for those embracing life's ups and downs with a positive spirit. The cover art also features the original Terry himself, who embodies the ‘No Bad Days’ spirit and is a big reason why The Terrys are a band today.”
