This artwork was drafted by Lennon in Suite 1742 at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel, Montreal, Canada, during John and Yokos historic Bed-In for Peace, 26 May - 2 June 1969; the artwork was presented to Lennon's close friend.

This drawing is featured in the couple’s 1969 “Bed-In for Peace” documentary as part of their demonstration against the Vietnam War. This drawing can be seen hanging on the wall behind the couple. The bed-ins, which lasted two weeks at two hotels in Amsterdam and Montreal, received a lot of press coverage at the time.
