On the heels of 7 Latin GRAMMY® nominations and a showstopping MTV Vanguard performance and honor, GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY® Award winning artist Shakira released her latest single “El Jefe” featuring Fuerza Regida, an uptempo ska regional Mexican track - listen HERE! Shakira also released the official video for the track - watch HERE! The video was directed by Jora Frantzis and filmed in Miami.
On Tuesday, Shakira received Latin GRAMMY® Award nominations for Song of The Year for “Acróstico,” “ Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53,” and ““TQG,” Record of the Year and Best Pop Song for “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53,” as well as Best Urban Fusion/performance for “TQG", making her one of the most nominated artists of the year.
On September 29th, notably celebrating the 25th anniversary of Shakira’s runaway success album, Dónde Están Los Ladrones, Spotify introduces ‘Shakira Day’ to honor the musical significance of this album in Latin Pop history and Shakira’s enduring legacy.
