History-making London-based girl group FLO continue their collaboration with the legendary Missy Elliott, dropping two remixes of the summer anthem “Fly Girl” with Eliza Rose and Magicsticks.

Earlier this week it was announced that FLO is nominated for Best New International Act, Best Group, and Best New Artist at this year’s BET Awards. The nominations come following the conclusion of FLO’s successful debut North American tour in which they played 9 headline shows across 9 cities, performing at iconic venues from Toronto’s Opera House, New York’s Webster Hall, to the infamous Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. The tour attracted the attendance of R&B sensations Chloë Bailey and Destin Conrad, and during the Atlanta leg of the tour singer/songwriter and Ariana Grande’s creative collaborator Victoria Monét made a surprise appearance to serenade FLO with flowers during their performance. Later that week the girls took to the stage at The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon for the first time to perform a live rendition of “Fly Girl.”

FLO has become the hottest festival act to see this summer, as they play Sol Blume in Sacramento alongside Kehlani, The Isle of Wight festival, Dublin’s Longitude festival, Glastonbury, TRNSMT Festival, Wireless Festival, and two dates at Summersonic in Japan. Last weekend the BBC hosted its biggest ‘Big Weekender’ festival to date, attracting over 80,000 festival goers. It was also FLO’s first UK festival performance, so it was only fitting that they were the opening act after being crowned winners of the BBC Sound Of 2023 and living up to their status as “Rising Stars.” Reneé, Jorja and Stella wowed the crowds with their sensational vocals and charismatic charm, performing their viral hit “Cardboard Box” and “Fly Girl.”
